This totally portrays the Great General. I love the concept, partially due to the lack of insanity (which I adore in his Remnants but don't like in Sephiroth). He looks mature, responsible, respectable, professional, and yes, sexy. That mouth is epic.
I also approve to your technique of refining the face but leaving the other parts more rough. Cool!
Your fanart is more to my liking than some official picture.
